Pasco doesn’t have an amphitheater or a concert hall of its own, and most weeks that means driving somewhere else if you want a real touring act. Here’s what’s worth the drive right now, each in a different direction out of the county — and if you want what’s actually happening inside Pasco the same week, our weekly things-to-do roundup and the full events calendar cover that.
Jimmy Eat World — MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa
Jimmy Eat World brings its 25 Years of Bleed American anniversary tour through Tampa Bay, with Hot Mulligan and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers opening. MIDFLORIDA is Tampa Bay’s largest outdoor venue — 20,000 capacity between reserved pavilion seats and the general-admission lawn — so even a late ticket usually gets you in.
Good to know: 4802 US Hwy 301 N, Tampa, FL 33610. Saturday, Nov. 14, 7pm. Tickets from around $51.

UB40 — Mahaffey Theater, St. Petersburg
UB40’s Unstoppable Tour plays the Mahaffey, right on the waterfront in downtown St. Pete — a different kind of night out than an amphitheater lawn, indoor and seated, with the water and downtown skyline right outside.
Good to know: 400 1st St. S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Saturday, Nov. 14, 8pm.

Trinity of Shadows’ Fall Festival Debut — Historic Gilchrist County Jail, Trenton
This one’s a longer haul and a different kind of night out — Trinity of Shadows, an all-sister paranormal investigation team, makes its first-ever in-person community event appearance at the Historic Gilchrist County Jail’s sixth annual Fall Festival. The nearly 100-year-old jail — Trenton’s only nationally recognized historic site — opens for tours alongside a paranormal “spooky zone,” survivalists from Discovery’s “Naked and Afraid,” trick-or-treating, and vendors. Free admission.
Good to know: 313 NW 2nd St, Trenton, FL 32693. Saturday, Oct. 24, 12-8pm. About 100 miles from Wesley Chapel, roughly two hours up US-19/US-98.
Read the full writeup on BestOfHernando
All four of these are outside Pasco County — Tampa and St. Petersburg are Hillsborough/Pinellas, Clearwater is Pinellas, and Trenton is Gilchrist County, well north of the Tampa Bay market entirely. If you want the full rundown on what else is playing the Tampa Bay venues, VibeTampa covers that market directly; BestOfHernando has the full writeup on the Gilchrist County Jail event.
