Zephyrhills Lights Its Downtown Christmas Tree on a Monday Night This Year

Downtown Zephyrhills Historic District

Zephyrhills kicks off its holiday season on a Monday night this year — Main Street Zephyrhills lights the downtown Christmas tree at 7pm on Nov. 23, ahead of the bigger Festival of Lights and parade the following Saturday, Dec. 5.

It’s a short, simple event by design: no parade route to clear, no vendor setup, just the tree lighting itself in the heart of the Main Street historic district. If you’re looking for the full production — food trucks, a parade, a theme — that’s the Dec. 5 Festival of Lights. This is the quieter, earlier kickoff for people who want to see the tree lit without the crowd.

Zephyrhills’ downtown historic district earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Main Street buildings lining 5th Avenue make for a genuinely nice backdrop once the holiday lights go up for the season.

Good to know: Downtown Zephyrhills, 5th Ave. Monday, Nov. 23, 2026, 7pm. Free. Dates and times are subject to change — confirm at mainstreetzephyrhills.org.
