Cotee River Creamery Scoops Into a New Land O’ Lakes Storefront

Pasco County’s ice cream options just expanded. Cotee River Creamery & Desserts has opened a second storefront at 6745 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., bringing its scratch-made ice cream and expanding dessert menu north from its original New Port Richey location.

The new spot keeps the creamery’s signature greens-and-gold branding and offers roughly 60 house-made ice cream flavors daily, rotating through classics and specialty combinations. Beyond the scoop case, the Land O’ Lakes location adds coffee and lattes to the menu, plus a broader dessert lineup than the original shop — and there’s talk of adding a light lunch component as the location settles in.

Seating is intentionally small indoors (about eight seats) but the shop leans into a larger outdoor patio built for family stops and evening hangouts — a layout clearly designed around Land O’ Lakes’ after-dinner ice cream run crowd rather than a sit-down cafe experience.

It’s a solid new answer to “where do we go for ice cream” north of the original New Port Richey shop, without a long drive across the county.
