SUMMARY:Savage Race Florida Fall 2026
DESCRIPTION:Twenty-five obstacles\, a discount code\, and a dedicated kids’ course all land on a Dade City cattle ranch this November. Savage Race — the national obstacle-course series built as the scrappier rival to Spartan Race — brings its Florida Fall event to Little Everglades Ranch. \nThe full Savage Race runs 5-7 miles with 25-plus obstacles; the shorter Savage Blitz runs 3 miles with 15-plus obstacles. The full race and the competitive Savage PRO heat both start at 8am for men and 8:15am for women; Blitz runners pick a start window at registration. Savage Jr gives kids 12 and under their own course (11am start) — a third-mile with smaller obstacles for ages 8 and under\, a full mile for ages 9-12. \nPrice: Registration normally runs $139 (full race) / $129 (Blitz); a 25%-off code (HAUNT25) was live as of this writing. Savage Jr is $45 online / $55 onsite. Spectators pay $15 per adult (12 and under free). Parking is $20 regular\, $30 VIP/RV\, $10 motorcycle. \nOne thing to know before you go: this is a mud-and-water obstacle race — expect a muddy festival area and plan accordingly if you’re there as a spectator\, not just a racer. \nMore info: 25 Obstacles and a Kids’ Course: Savage Race Returns to Dade City This November

Saturday\, Nov. 14\, 9am. \nOne thing to know before you go: KRATE’s lot fills up fast for events like this — arrive close to the 9am start if you want decent parking\, and the container-park food stalls are a genuine draw once you’re done looking at the show vehicles.

SUMMARY:Civil War Reenactment at Pioneer Florida Museum
DESCRIPTION:A working blacksmith’s forge and a line of Civil War infantry share the same acre of Dade City this weekend. Pioneer Florida Museum & Village opens its annual Civil War Reenactment to the public\, with reenactors in camp and a living-history demonstration running alongside the museum’s regular working exhibits. \nA school-focused Civil War History Field Trip Day runs the day before\, Friday Nov. 13\, 9am-1pm. \nPrice: Regular museum admission applies — $12 adults\, $10 seniors\, $6 students\, free under 5\, free active-duty military and immediate family with ID. \nOne thing to know before you go: the museum didn’t post a separate reenactment ticket price\, so regular admission covers it — and the museum asks visitors to arrive by 3:30pm. \nMore info: Civil War Reenactment and Field Trip Day at Pioneer Florida Museum

SUMMARY:Jimmy Eat World: 25 Years of Bleed American -- MIDFLORIDA Amphitheatre
DESCRIPTION:Jimmy Eat World self-financed Bleed American after Capitol Records dropped them — then the album’s second single\, “The Middle\,” hit No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the song AllMusic credits with launching mainstream emo-pop as a genre. It’s sold 1.7 million copies since 2001 and remains the band’s only Top 40 hit on the Hot 100 to date\, which makes this 25th-anniversary tour a full victory lap on the record that saved the band’s career. Hot Mulligan and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers open. \nMIDFLORIDA is Tampa Bay’s largest outdoor venue — 20\,000 capacity between pavilion seats and lawn — so a late decision usually still gets you in. It’s an all-ages general-admission lawn show\, loud and crowded but nothing objectionable on stage; fine for teens\, a long night for anyone much younger. \nGood to know: 4802 US Hwy 301 N\, Tampa\, FL 33610. Saturday\, Nov. 14\, 7pm. Tickets from around $51 through Ticketmaster. Outside Pasco County — a worth-the-drive pick. \nBuy Jimmy Eat World Tickets\nMore info: Worth the Drive — Jimmy Eat World\, UB40\, and Alice Cooper Play Tampa Bay This Fall

SUMMARY:UB40: The Unstoppable Tour -- Mahaffey Theater
DESCRIPTION:UB40 started as a group of unemployed friends in a Birmingham\, England welfare line in 1978 — the band’s name is literally the UK government’s unemployment benefit form number\, and their first album\, Signing Off\, was a pun on leaving the dole. Their cover of Neil Diamond’s “Red Red Wine” hit No. 1 in the UK in 1983\, then took five more years to top the charts in America in 1988\, a slow-burn breakthrough partly credited to a performance on a Nelson Mandela birthday TV special. Four decades and dozens of hits later\, the Unstoppable Tour is their current run through North America. \nThe Mahaffey is right on the waterfront in downtown St. Pete — an indoor\, seated show instead of an amphitheater lawn\, with the water and the downtown skyline right outside. It’s a reggae-pop show with broad\, all-ages appeal; nothing in the material or staging makes it inappropriate for families\, though it’s a late-ish 8pm start for younger kids on a school night. \nGood to know: 400 1st St. S\, St. Petersburg\, FL 33701. Saturday\, Nov. 14\, 8pm. Tickets through Ticketmaster. Outside Pasco County — a worth-the-drive pick. \nBuy UB40 Tickets\nMore info: Worth the Drive — Jimmy Eat World\, UB40\, and Alice Cooper Play Tampa Bay This Fall
