The stretch of Nebraska Avenue between Adams Street and Grand Boulevard closes to cars one Friday night a month and fills with folding tables instead. That’s the NPR Fourth Friday Bazaar, an open-air evening market the City of New Port Richey runs in Railroad Square, the pedestrian plaza finished earlier this year after an eight-month rebuild of that stretch of downtown.
It runs the fourth Friday of nearly every month, 6-10pm, free to attend. Vendors curated by MADE Artisan Hall sell handmade crafts, jewelry, art, woodwork, gifts and collectibles — a rotating lineup rather than the same stalls every time. The next date is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026 — the day after Thanksgiving, which makes it a walkable, small-business alternative to a big-box Black Friday trip for anyone who’d rather shop downtown.
One real caveat: this is an outdoor street market, and as of this writing the city’s own event page doesn’t list a rain date or rain policy, so check the page day-of if the forecast looks bad.
Pair it with a stop at Fitzgerald’s Irish Tavern or drop by on a night close to downtown’s ticketed history art walk — both are a short walk from Railroad Square.
