A Monthly Night Market Takes Over the Shops at Wiregrass Every Second Wednesday

The retail crowd thins out and a different one shows up instead — the Shops at Wiregrass runs a Night Market the second Wednesday of every month, and tonight, Oct. 14, is this month’s round.

It’s built on top of the center’s existing restaurant and retail footprint rather than a separate ticketed event: local makers set up booths alongside the regular evening foot traffic, with live music and food running the length of the market from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Unlike the center’s twice-monthly Fresh Market (daytime, produce-heavy), the Night Market leans toward handmade goods, gifts, and the kind of vendor booth you browse after dinner rather than shop with a grocery list.

The timing means it pairs easily with whatever’s already at the center that night — a meal at one of Wiregrass’s restaurants, a stop at the bookstore, or just a walk through before the stores close. It’s one of the more reliable monthly dates on the Wesley Chapel calendar precisely because it doesn’t compete with the center’s bigger seasonal events; it just happens, every second Wednesday, without much fanfare.

If you’d rather time your visit around live music specifically, the free Zac Brown tribute concert hits the same center tomorrow night, and The Market Elaine a few minutes away runs its own larger vendor market on First Fridays if once a month isn’t enough.

Good to know: 28211 Paseo Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. Second Wednesday of every month, 5:30-9:30 p.m. Free to attend, free parking on site.
