Wiregrass runs a free concert series at its Center Stage most months, and this one’s built for anybody who wishes they’d caught Zac Brown Band live — Homegrown, a tribute act built around the band’s catalog, plays the center tomorrow night, Thursday, Oct. 15, 7-9 p.m.
It’s an outdoor show on the center’s own Center Stage, free and open to anyone walking through, no ticket or RSVP involved. The format is the same one the center has used for its other monthly tribute nights — a full band working through a well-known catalog rather than a single acoustic act, with the center’s restaurants and shops staying open around it so the evening doesn’t have to end when the music does.
Bring a lawn chair if you want to actually sit for the set; most of the open plaza in front of the stage is standing-room or spread-a-blanket space rather than fixed seating.
If a tribute band isn’t quite what you’re after, the TL Jentgens EDM show at Sims Park in New Port Richey lands this Saturday instead, and the center itself has karaoke night the following evening if you’d rather be the one performing.
Good to know: 28211 Paseo Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. Thursday, Oct. 15, 7-9 p.m. Free admission, free parking on site.
