Pasco Flea Fest Takes Over the Entire Fairgrounds the Saturday After Thanksgiving

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, the entire Pasco County Fairgrounds in Dade City turns into one giant flea market instead of its usual mix of smaller weekend vendors. Pasco Flea Fest bills itself as a “bigger, better, bolder” treasure hunt — more vendor space, more variety, and a full five hours to dig through it, from 10am to 3pm.

Landing the day after Thanksgiving puts it right in the thick of early holiday shopping season, which makes it a decent alternative to fighting Black Friday mall crowds — flea market finds instead of doorbusters, outdoors at the fairgrounds instead of a parking garage.

The fairgrounds sit a few minutes outside downtown Dade City proper, which has its own worthwhile wander if you make a day of the trip — antique shops, the historic courthouse square, and Dade City’s small-town Main Street are all close by.
