Zephyrhills saves its biggest holiday event for last — the Festival of Lights runs a full five hours through downtown, from 4 to 9pm, building toward a 7pm Christmas parade down the same 5th Avenue corridor that hosts the town’s Veterans Day Parade and Halloween Howl earlier in the season. This year’s parade theme is “Christmas Through the Decades.”
Coming less than two weeks after the Nov. 23 tree lighting, this is the full production version of Zephyrhills’ holiday season — vendors, lights, and a parade route, rather than the quieter tree-lighting-only kickoff. Between the two, Main Street Zephyrhills essentially turns its entire downtown historic district into a monthlong holiday display.
Street closures are likely along the parade route for the evening — if you’re driving in, plan to park a few blocks out and walk in rather than aiming for anything close to 5th Avenue itself.
Good to know: Downtown Zephyrhills, 5th Ave. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, 4-9pm; parade at 7pm. Free. Dates and times are subject to change — confirm at mainstreetzephyrhills.org.
