Marketplace on Trouble Creek
Smaller and more local than the Wiregrass market on the other side of the county, the Marketplace on Trouble Creek runs handmade crafts, fresh produce, plants, baked goods, jellies, beef jerky, funnel cakes, food trucks and kettle corn out of a church parking lot west of Rowan Road. Live music runs through the morning, and there’s occasionally other entertainment mixed in depending on the month.
When: Saturday, August 15, 2026, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Runs the third Saturday of every month.
Where: Calvary Chapel Worship Center, 6825 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653
Cost: Free to attend
It’s a cash-and-card market — vendors here take cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and PayPal or Venmo, so you’re not locked into carrying bills the way some smaller Florida markets still require.
Parking
The market runs directly in the church’s own parking lot, so parking is on-site and typically not a hassle at this scale — it’s a smaller footprint than the Wiregrass market, with a smaller crowd to match.
One thing to know before you go
This is a monthly market, not a weekly one — it’s easy to assume any Saturday will do and show up to an empty lot. Third Saturday only. Bring a bag or box for produce; smaller markets like this one don’t always have the plastic-bag volume that a grocery store or bigger market does.
